Ashton Whitty and Asia Argento

Ashton Blaise Whitty is an American actress, born in Berkeley on the 1st October 1996. She is an American actress who has appeared in Choices (2010) and The Heart and Other Small Shapes (2004).

Asia Argento was born in Rome, Italy, into an actor's family and film makers, two careers which she's been pursuing. When she was nine, she made her acting debut in Sergio Ciotti's film Sogni e bisogni. in 1988 she portrayed the role of lead in the first feature of Cristina Comencini's film Zoo. Additionally, she was one of Michele's cast in The Church. She played Nanni's daughter the next year in Red Wood Pigeon. It was her acting career that truly began to take off after Close Friends, written and directed Michele Placido. It was a huge success at the Cannes International Film Festival. Daria Nicole Nicolodi was Argento's favorite actress and was portrayed as a teenage anorexic searching for her parents murderer in Trauma. Dario Argento's The Phantom of the Opera is the third film she's created with her father other films being Trauma and The Stendhal Syndrome Asia's absorbed and intense acting style is well utilized in Giuseppe Picioni's Condannato a Nozze . Her role as Arianna in Carlo Verdone's Perdiamoci di vista, which focuses on a physically disabled girl, was an arduous and complicated role that won it the David di Donatello award as the most outstanding actor. She had a feature role on the screen in Queen Margot, directed by Patrice Cereau. In 1995 she co-starred with Michel Piccoli in Peter Del Monte's Compagna di viaggio which again brought her a David diDonatello as well as the Grolla oro. Asia started directing short films in 1994. In addition, she was the director of an episode in the movie De Generazione. 1996 saw her directing a documentary alongside the father of her. 1998 saw her direct AbelAsia which was a film about legendary filmmaker Abel Ferrara. This film was awarded a prize at the Rome Film Festival. Asia began her first feature in 1999. The film was Scarlet Diva. For this film she also played the main character and directed the script. The film released May 20, 2000, both in Italy in addition to the rest of world. The film was honoured at the Williamsburg Festival in Brooklyn, New York.
